In 1996 we decided to build a house in the Webster/Penfield area. After evaluating several builders (cost, material, workmanship, etc.), we decided to build with Barone Homes. As we were novices to the building process, we put our faith in Barone Homes and hoped for the best. The best is exactly what we got and our faith turned into absolute trust. It has been over 10 years since our original house was built and since then we have put on 3 additions, all built by Barone Homes. Each addition has exceeded our expectations and looks original to the house.
One of the most refreshing aspects of building with Barone Homes is the builder himself, Barry Barone. Barry is a "hand-on" builder with a keen eye for detail. Barry obviously loves what he does; he was often on the jobsite (of our additions) hammering or attending to a detail. From a customer's perspective, that is such a great thing! I've often thought if Barry and his brother,Joe, had a slogan it would be something like Zenith TV's slogan, "The quality goes in before the name goes on" or "Quality is job #1" from Ford Automotive. Needless to say, Barry takes great pride in his workmanship. Additionally, Barry is a very genuine and sincere person who makes your concerns his concerns. He's a wealth of information and will often make suggestions during the building process which turn a good idea into an awesome idea.
It is without hesitation or reservation that we recommend Barone Homes. We would welcome a chance to discuss our experiences with anyone who is considering building or remodeling with Barone Homes.
